Thanks to 5 Star Hoops I was able to record an interview with Virginia Commonwealth’s head coach Anthony Grant. Coach Grant honed his skills as a key assistant to Billy Donovan at Marshall and Florida in helping to build their programs toward the back-to-back championship and this past season led the VCU Rams to the NCAA tournament and first round knockout of perennial power Duke. This winter I had the chance to read “Ball Don’t Lie” by Matt de la Pena and it instantly become one of my favourite books.
