Ben Watson Meets Yao Ming
This afternoon I was sent this comical clip of New England Patriots tight end Ben Watson joking around with Yao Ming. Just two pro athletes joking around, right? Wrong. The clip of Watson meeting Yao was genius because it shows another famous athlete being in awe of Yao, it provided an example of just how tall Yao is compared to other professional athletes and I appreciated getting a glimpse into Yao’s unique sense of humour.
This is the kind of stuff I wish ESPN and NBA.com showed more often instead of the usual “boring” interviews they run with where athletes give what appear to be scripted and rehearsed answers.
