Top Three Fantasy Performers - 03/13

March 14, 2008 No Comment

hafantasy1.jpgOnly three games on Thursday which means that your fantasy squad probably had the night off. If you did have a couple guys going, congratulations to DeShawn Stevenson for getting the “Anger LeBron Award,” as I guarantee the next time the Cav’s face the Wiz, King James will reign with a ridiculous stat line and put Stevenson to shame in the process.

Here are the Top Three Fantasy Performers for March 13th:

1. Baron Davis – 38 Points, 9 Rebounds, 8 Assists, 3 Steals, 1 Block, 1 Turnover: If you gambled on Baron Davis this year it certainly has paid off as he has played in every game this season. My guess is that he is only this healthy because it’s his contract year and will fall back to his injured self next year. If you can get him at an affordable price, make sure to hit the accept button quick.

2. Amare Stoudemire – 36 Points, 11 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 4 Blocks, 1 Turnover: It’s great to see Amare Stoudemire return back to old form after his surgeries and enjoy a fantastic season for the Suns. Now playing at his natural position of PF, Amare is putting up great lines like the one above. He shot 13-21 and made 10 – 12 of his free throws.

3. Steve Nash – 21 Points, 4 Rebounds, 13 Assists, 3 Turnovers: Nothing too impressive here but it was a slow night and this line is about average for Nash. He did hit four three-ballers in the victory over the Warriors. He should be starting in every league for this week.
