Here's my problem... The Raptors have played Kobe fairly well most of the time actually, and that's because they usually lay off him and allow him to take jump shots. Instead, everyone played him tight and got caught on several different plays, including reaching while going up for a shot, and poor rotations.

Bargnani, I agree, is back where I'd like to see him. Is it a huge improvement from last year? No, but it's at least as good as last year, which is important. Rebounding, I didn't think was a huge problem last night, as I'm more disappointed with Bosh's rebounding yesterday. The thing I like most about Barg's play lately is that he's driving a lot more and getting fouls, as well as showing some power moves to the basket now. Those are a couple new things that he's been working on, and it's finally showing.

With TJ scheduled to be back next week, I think we should see some pick up in the Raptors. However, that San Antonio back to back with the Timberwolves game is going to be rough.

KOBE-KOBE-KOBE

When Kobe is in a Zone like he was Raptors have no answer for him.

They tried different players/defenses, nothing worked. Game was there if the could have had an offensive 4th. Lakers hit their 1st 8 shots and game over at that time. Need TJ back and more offense from bench to compete with the top teams.

Kobe put on a show last night. But even Paul Jones (who admits that he flies with the players on the Rap's dime, hence the limits to his objectivity) admits that we didn't make Kobe work for his 46 points, while CB4 had to really laboured for his. It was good to see Andrea picking up his game, but 4 rebounds is still too little (I'm sure Sam will make him work harder next time). I was surprised not to see Kris last night, his hustle would have helped on the defensive end.

Wow, Gasol for nothing! The lakers can really contest the west now. I sure hope Colangelo's got something up his sleeves.

The whole game, you never got the sense that the Raptors were in it, even though they were only down 1-5 points throughout the game.

I don't know what Mitchell was doing have Moon go back out there in the fourth, he didn't do anything all game. He also took too long to bring Bargnani back in and it was obvious the whole game that Bosh was tired, I am not sure why he was tired as he didn't play much on Wednesday either (he looked really tired on Wednesday too).

Boys, Bargnani is back, he looked confident and poised again tonight, I knew he would have another good game tonight as I stated in another comment I posted earlier today.

Overall, this game was such a tease and now I am confident in saying the Lakers are a top 4 team in the West with Gasol.
