Yet Another Sign of the Apocalypse
Terry Stotts, former head coach of the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks, has taken a job in the NBA Developmental League.
The unfortunate part? He’s not going to be coaching - he’s going to “evaluate each of the League’s coaches and provide insight into improving their skills in order for them to elevate to the NBA.”
Seriously.
In his four seasons as a head coach, Stotts has a career record of 115-168. He was fired from both of his jobs. As the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks, he once told his team during a timeout in a close game that they were outmatched talent-wise, to play “wild” and “crazy” - sound advice, coach.
A guy who can’t elevate his his own skills to the NBA is going to instruct coaches on how to elevate their skills. Only in America, folks.

Well it is a VERy QUESTIONABLE hire because he once coached a talented filled BUCKS team with TJ Ford, Michael Redd, rookie Andrew Bogut, Bobby Simmons (before shredding his knees and sucking), an emerging MO Williams, a sharpshooting CHARlie Bell, and Jamaal Magloire (before his total plummet in talent). And all he can manage was BARELY MAKING it to 0.500 and an 8th spot to and to be raped by Detroit in the PLayoffs. Him “improving and inspecting skill” HE WILL GET the DEAF EAR!
