There was no fumble and there was no miracle. I remember watching NBA Inside Stuff with everybody's main man Ahmad Rashad interviewing King Rex after the Suns got bounced from the playoffs. Rex dazzled for the cameras on the practice court, making that same shot, an over-the-head catch on the run off one foot rainbow, over and over again.
