Rex does not live in Lexington Ky. or own a restaurant there anymore. He lives in Arizona with his family where he has lived since he retired. He does scout for the Tiberwolves and was one of the most exciting college (or high school) players ever.

Okay Brian, I am not going to say it...but I will say this I don't remember Rex playing for the Bullets. I do remember him being in that slam dunk competition against the Human Highlight Show or as some of my friends used to call him, "Frenchy". I think your next "Hey!" should be...Stacey Augmon. Speaking of, does Charlie Ward still play in the league? I can't think about him without thinking about the infamous Kobe sucker punch...hee hee!

It was a set play? I was trying to find it on YouTUbe but couldn't. He always threw up crazy shots in D.C. that had no business going in, that's what I liked about him. Nice Carnival BTW.

I even found it on youtube - it sure looks like a "bad" pass watching it now, but he was being defended really close by Hersey Hawkins, who was guarding him on the switch.

The play you refer to in 1997, against Seattle in the playoffs, was a set play. There was no fumble and there was no miracle. I remember watching NBA Inside Stuff with everybody's main man Ahmad Rashad interviewing King Rex after the Suns got bounced from the playoffs. Rex dazzled for the cameras on the practice court, making that same shot, an over-the-head catch on the run off one foot rainbow, over and over again.
